Jamaica is the Place to Be

The JTB succeeded the Tourist Trade Development Board the first formal promotional body to be constituted by the government fiat on 10 July Law 15 of 1922. This body was responsible for the promotion of Jamaica as a destination until 1955, when the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) was established by the Tourist Board Law 61 of 1954.
